Megan — Kitchen & Flooring Renovation

Rather than replacing the cabinetry entirely, the existing cabinets were refreshed with a crisp white finish, dramatically changing the look and feel of the space. New light quartz countertops replaced the older speckled surfaces, creating a cleaner visual line throughout the kitchen and peninsula. A decorative tile backsplash adds texture and subtle pattern, while under-cabinet lighting highlights the tilework and provides useful task lighting.

The kitchen was further updated with a new undermount sink and pull-down faucet, updated cabinet hardware, and stainless-steel appliances. Together, the lighter finishes and contrasting metal details give the existing cabinetry a much more current, polished appearance.

The renovation also extended beyond the kitchen. The original tile flooring throughout the adjoining living and dining areas was replaced with wide-plank wood-look flooring, creating a continuous surface that visually connects the spaces. The warmer flooring balances the white kitchen finishes and helps the entire open living area feel larger and more intentional.
