Deneen — Shower Renovation

The Deneen project began with the complete removal of the existing shower, exposing the framing, plumbing, and subfloor so the space could be rebuilt from the ground up. With everything opened up, the shower layout, plumbing, waterproofing, and underlying construction could be properly addressed before the new finishes were installed.

The rebuilt shower features white marble-look tile with soft gray veining for a bright, timeless look. A custom recessed niche becomes a focal point with its bold geometric mosaic tile, while coordinating hexagon mosaic flooring adds texture without competing with the accent pattern. Corner shelves provide additional everyday storage while keeping the shower open and uncluttered.

Brushed-nickel fixtures include both rainfall and handheld shower options, and a frameless glass enclosure allows the tilework and custom niche to remain the visual focus.

The finished space feels considerably brighter, cleaner, and more polished—but much of the value of this renovation is in what can’t be seen: a shower rebuilt from the framing forward with careful attention to plumbing, waterproofing, drainage, and the details that help it perform for years to come.
